Thank you to Dave Kanigan @ Lead.Learn.Live and John Childress for including me among your nominees for the Blog of the Year Award. I’m honoured.

One thing I’ve learned during 2012 is that this WordPress community of ours is a special place.

At this time a year ago, I never would have imagined that I’d have a number of lovely people following my blog or that I’d be nominated for any of the awards I had seen displayed on other people’s blogs. What a difference a year can make.

I appreciate all of you more than I can express. You’ve helped make this past year one of the best, in so many ways. Sure glad to know ya. :o)

I was more than a little nervous about posting it. Had to laugh at myself while I was making the recording. All alone — just me, my mic and my computer — and I was quaking in my boots. So, thanks again. Your encouragement is precious to me.
