we have our heads in the clouds today

“The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking over
harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.”

~ Carl Sandburg (January 06, 1878 – July 22, 1967)

    1. Thanks Deborah. That’s exactly what I thought when I saw the boat that day. The fog was dense enough right there to leave no hint of the shoreline behind it. Water and “sky” looking seamless. I love it when it’s like that.
